Money Maker Ranch Brahmans is owned and operated by Lanny Cowey. The operation is located in Nixon, Texas, and specializes in elite grey and red brahman cattle. MMR was started in 2018 and has been breeding and selling elite brahman cattle since that time.
When we first got the idea for the operation, it started strictly with commercial cattle and only a handful of registered brahman. Since then, we have taken on raising registered brahman and enjoy having calves year round. Being the small operation that we are, we do not compete with the larger operations. We are able to market our registered brahman cattle at a lower price point due to the low overhead costs on our end. We believe that is our biggest asset at MMR!
As a one-man show, we are exactly what it means when they say “quality over quantity”. We are a small, but mighty operation and just really enjoy being around cattle and spending time researching the genetics that came along with those exceptional cattle.
Our cattle come from the most elite genetics in the grey and red brahman breeds and we take great pride in continuing to improve our cattle day after day. We put a main focus on pedigree and EPDs and arrange only the best matings to ensure quality each and every time.
